knit baptism gown

I just have to share a few more photos of Mae's Baptism gown. I started knitting this dress while I was pregnant and finished about two weeks before Mae was born. It took just over a month from start to finish. The pattern is by Bernat Design Studio. It's exactly what I was looking for: lace pattern with a scalloped hem. I knit the gown in Rowan Wool Cotton 4-ply, which is very soft -- perfect for baby clothes worn against the skin.

I am so proud of this dress. It was my first time knitting set-in sleeves, and I love how the scallops turned out. Plus, Mae looked so cute!!
